Here at Autoglym, we are proud of our supportive culture where all employees are given the opportunity and encouragement to learn and develop. So, what can you expect?
Within the first few weeks all new employees are invited to a Learning & Development induction where they are introduced to the training opportunities available. They will also be enrolled on to our New Starter Training programme which is a blend of online and in person interventions including Stress Management, Diversity Inclusion & Belonging, Cyber Security and Health & Safety training. We want to keep our employees as happy, healthy and safe as we can!!

Learning happens in many ways. Of course we all learn every day within our jobs... and we encourage a coaching management style to make sure that this happens. We like to collaborate here which creates loads of opportunities to get involved in project groups, events and other activities to broaden our knowledge and also get to know lots of different people right across the business. As they say, ‘your network is your power’ (and it also makes it far more fun at the Christmas parties, which we love too!)
We encourage a culture of sharing expertise and learning from each other. To support this, we run regular ‘Learning live’ webinars, giving employees a platform to share their knowledge. All sessions are recorded and can be viewed via iLearn our Learning Management System and or reached via our dedicated Learning portal on SharePoint.

We have an extensive programme of internal training, covering topics ranging from Project Management to Emotional Intelligence. Anyone can attend these and they’re another great opportunity to meet new people whilst learning something new! We have an 8-day training programme to support our managers along with ‘Aspiring Managers’ training for those who think they might like to become managers in the future.
We also work with external training partners to provide regular IT courses, alongside professional training and thought leadership to support our expertise both within and beyond our roles.
